Marvelous Philippines Itineraries 2026: The Guide (15 Days, 3 Weeks, 1 Month)
How to visit 7,641 islands without exhausting yourself or wasting time in airports? Our perfect itineraries, timed for unforgettable holidays whether you have 2 weeks or 1 month.

The Art of the Perfect Itinerary in the Philippines (2026)
You just opened Google Maps. You type "Philippines" and suddenly, vertigo hits you. 7,641 islands, ferries, dozens of domestic flights... How do you fit Palawan, Whale Sharks, millennia-old rice terraces, and Siargao into just 15 days?
Save days of research. As expats who have traced hundreds of route plans, we know that a bad itinerary will end up with 25% of your time wasted in tricycles and noisy local airport waiting rooms.
Here are the 3 king itineraries of 2026, validated in the field.

The Golden Rule (Must read before choosing)
1. The Transit Theory: Moving your base from one island to another (Hotel check-out -> Tricycle -> Plane/Ferry -> Tricycle -> Check-in at the new hotel) always takes at least half a day.
2. Never count the 1st and the last day: If you come for 15 days, you only truly have 13 clear days for visiting. Don't clog your schedule!
3. The magic ratio: 3 real days per island. Less is a marathon. More is paradise.

🧭 15-Day Itinerary: "The Timeless Classic"
For a striking first time: The stars of the archipelago without the fatigue.
This circuit allows you to admire the world-class karst landscapes of Palawan and the sweetness of life in the Visayas.
* Day 1: Arrival in Manila.
Overnight near the airport (Terminal 3) to recover from jet lag.
* Days 2 to 5: Coron (Northern Palawan).
Direct flight to Busuanga. Dive into the crystal-clear lakes (Kayangan Lake) and do a snorkeling safari over the Japanese shipwrecks.
* Days 6 to 9: El Nido.
Take the direct ferry (4h) connecting Coron to El Nido. Check out tours A and C without the crowds to discover the secret lagoon and the deep blue.
* Days 10 to 13: Bohol & Panglao.
Take a direct AirSWIFT domestic flight from El Nido -> Bohol. See the Tarsiers, the Chocolate Hills by scooter, and the beautiful tropical beaches of Panglao Island for rest.
* Day 14: Return to Civilization.
Flight from Bohol -> Manila and final souvenir shopping at the Mall of Asia.
* Day 15: International Departure.
👉 We love it for its smooth logistics (only 1 long ferry and 2 domestic flights). No race against the clock.

🗺️ 3-Week Itinerary: "The Adventure & Diving Pack"
21 days allow you to broaden the horizon and add the incredible island of Cebu or the mystical rice terraces of the North.
We take the frame of the 15 days but transform the Southern part!
* Days 1 to 8: Palawan (Coron then El Nido)
* Days 9 to 11: Port Barton.
Head down by van from El Nido (3h). Port Barton is the "Roots" Palawan of 10 years ago: intimate Island Hopping, sea turtles, and a relaxed atmosphere. Finish the Palawan stay by reaching Puerto Princesa (PPC) airport.
* Days 12 to 15: South Cebu (Moalboal & Oslob).
Flight PPC -> Cebu City. Head down along the West coast towards Moalboal to snorkel with millions of sardines ("Sardine Run"). Follow up with the gigantic Kawasan Falls in Canyoneering mode.
* Days 16 to 19: Siquijor or Bohol.
Take the OceanJet ferry from South Cebu to land either on the mystical island of sorcerers (Siquijor) or in the heart of Bohol's jungle.
* Days 20 and 21: Return to Cebu City then Manila for international departure.

⚓ 1-Month Itinerary: "The Sultan's Total Immersion"
30 days: You are the masters of time. To the Classic, we add the extreme North or the Surfing capital to the south!
If you have 30 days (The free 30-day tourist visa is perfectly suited for this):
Option 1: The Siargao Experience (The Surf Vibe)
After doing Palawan, Cebu, and Bohol... Take a flight to Siargao! The teardrop-shaped island is a jewel of coconut trees. Even without surfing, the bohemian atmosphere, the natural pools (Magpupungko), and the trendy vegan restaurants will make you completely let go.
Adding Siargao ideally takes 5 to 6 days.*
Option 2: The Millennia-old Rice Terraces of the North (Luzon)
Upon arriving in Manila (Days 1 to 6), skip the planes immediately. Rent a night bus or a private driver and head up to the Cordilleras (Banaue, Batad). Hike through the UNESCO-listed terraces, a stunning testament to 2000-year-old human labor, then return to Manila to fly to the Visayas!

The Secret that Often Ruins First Times
A large portion of travelers realize on-site that ferry tickets are "Sold Out", or that the tricycle they paid for at the terminal costs 3 times the normal price (The famous scammer).
Do not try to race through 5 islands in 10 days. Let your schedule breathe.
With the PalmsHorizons agency, you benefit from a dedicated advisor based in the Philippines who designs exactly the timeline that suits you with All your certified and hassle-free reservations.
